As an internist in general practice I accompany my patients with many years of clinical experience, professional expertise and a holistic view of the person.

My career began with a degree in psychology at the Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nuremberg, which I completed in 1981 as a graduate psychologist. I then studied human medicine and received my licence to practise in 1984. In 1985 I obtained doctorates in both medicine and philosophy.

After many years at the Medical Clinic I of the Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nuremberg, I qualified as a specialist in internal medicine, obtained my habilitation and worked for many years as senior physician and later as head physician of several internal medicine departments. Further focal points of my medical career are gastroenterology and diabetology.

What matters most to me is medicine that combines modern diagnostics and scientific experience with personal attention. I take time for conversations, listen carefully and attach great importance to trusting, long-term care for my patients.

Since April 2025 I have been established as an internist in general practice in Bamberg and look forward to accompanying people medically in all phases of life.

My name is Pascal Wilhelm. I am a specialist in occupational medicine and am currently training to become a specialist in general practice. My career has taken me through various medical fields, including radiology, radiotherapy and company medical care for large employers in Nuremberg.

General practice appeals to me in particular because it looks at people not only in terms of individual complaints but in their overall health situation. This long-term, personal contact is for me the core of good primary care.

In my daily work I attach great importance to calm, structured and understandable medicine. It is important to me to assess complaints carefully, to explain medical connections clearly and to find individual solutions together with my patients.

In addition to classic primary care, preventive medicine, modern diagnostics and questions of occupational and travel medicine are among my particular interests.

My aim is medicine that combines professional expertise with humanity, trust and long-term support.
